Don’t know what you want to do in life?
Can you feel the pressure of needing to know?
It doesn’t matter whether you’re 23, or 65, we all seem to feel that we need to know where we’re going.
I work with people from all over the world.
And it has become clear to me that we all struggle with the same uncertainty.
No one truly knows where they’re going.
But then you might say: “Okay, Henri. That’s fine. But I don’t even know where to start.”
The good news is that you don’t have to know where to start, or even where you’re going, in order to live a fulfilling life.
The video
Before you read the rest of this article, watch the video below.
Because, as always, in it I share information that helps you dive deeper into living as yourself.

You’ve tried, and you’ve failed
You’ve tried to figure this out. It doesn’t work. You know, because you end up frustrated, exhausted, and you lose hope.
But as I mentioned above, you don’t have to know where you’re going, you simply have to start experimenting with your inner GPS.
I’ve been following my heart, and doing what I enjoy, for over a decade. And I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. I just keep following what I feel interested in, while being as practical as I can without exhausting myself.
I’m constantly relaxing deeper into life, and letting go of trying to control what I could never control in the first place.
For a long time, I struggled with living life my way, because I was afraid of what would happen. I listened to outside sources about what I should do, because I thought they knew more than I did.
But no one has a crystal ball
And other people certainly don’t know what’s right for you.
So it’s not until you begin trusting yourself that your life begins to unfold.
You may not become famous or rich, but you will begin to experience more and more peace, satisfaction, and joy in your life.
When you don’t know what you want to do in life, it’s okay. You don’t have to know.
The mind can never grasp this thing we call life. You can never figure it out. You can only live it, one moment at a time.
You decide if you want to give your power away, or if you listen to your inner authority.
I cannot tell you how to live your life, nor do I want you to take my words as the absolute truth.
I’ve found my way
And I’m sharing my story to hopefully inspire you to look inside.
You see, I don’t have to know what’s coming.
All I have to do is listen to my inner GPS, my inner authority, and respond to life.
That’s it. It’s simple, but oh can it be hard when you’re going through a tough time.
But it all begins in this moment.
You have to be willing to experiment with how your inner GPS works.
Cheerio,
Henri
P.S. Would you like to learn more about how I live my passion? The I invite you to check out my new course: Live Your Passion.
Great advice as ever, Henri, am a big fan of your work. I think a lot of people feel under pressure to know what to do with their life because we have so many more ‘opportunities’ in modern times and it is hard to decide which is the best one to take.
This is another great article.
The best way to move on in life is to follow your inner gps or passion , when you do this you are bound to be great. I am currently following my passion ; though it’s been hard but I will soon reach the breakthrough as Jim collins state in his book “Good to great” that flywheel moves gradually until it reaches a breakthrough where it will needs a very litte force to continue after breakthrough.
Thanks for this write – up

This post is sprinkled with profound insight and quotable statements. I like what you said here…”And other people certainly don’t know what’s right for you. So it’s not until you begin trusting yourself that your life begins to unfold.”
I think we all struggle with the urge to have our lives mapped out in our minds. From our youth, we’re asked by well-meaning adults, “What are you going to be when you grow up.” But this post is an excellent reminder that we need to listen to our inner authorities and simply ride life’s amazing waves. It comes when it comes.
Thank you Henri, love the simplicity and wisdom in your work. It’s a comfort to hear you speak this way, helps to realise that we are always discovering more about ourselves and that in itself is perhaps the reason for our life, just to keep discovering more about ourselves and what resonates and flows. love and light x
So inspiring. Need more of this Henri. I am a victim of fear and have been finding it really hard, have tried many techniques but in vain.
