This is Part 3 of the Law of Attraction for Conscious People Series.
Throughout my life I’ve noticed that a few simple tools have helped me in manifesting what I want faster.
It doesn’t guarantee anything, but it has upped my success rate.
There’s a reason for everything that goes on in your life. If you’re facing hardship, you’ve attracted it into your life.
And sometimes the hardship is there to teach you something, to help you grow so you can reach your final destination.
Every thought you put out attracts something. What kind of thoughts are you broadcasting? Positive? Negative?
It can be hard to deal with. It’s easier to just blame it all on external circumstances.
It is only when you take the power back that things start to happen. For the longest time I felt like a victim and blamed everything and everyone around me.
I never knew why and it took me years of feeling bad to realize that it was a creation of my own mind.
The circumstances will be different in your own life, so you will have to step up and start experimenting. With that said, let’s jump right in. Here are a few tools, methods and strategies that have a proven track-record in my life.
Emotional Freedom Techniques
If you’ve read some of my posts, you know that I talk about Emotional Freedom Techniques here and there. It is a practical way to release negative emotions. This is why it works so well with the law of attraction.
If you’re attached to a specific outcome, you will often block yourself from manifesting it, or at least delay it. The more you can let go of any emotions and thoughts of lack, the faster it will manifest.
If you’re trying to manifest your dream job, but you’re constantly thinking about how your old job sucks or how bad everything is, this is where you can use EFT to release the negativity. You can also use it to release any doubts about manifesting the job you really want.
In essence, the better you feel, the faster you’ll get what you want.
The Sedona Method
The Sedona Method is similar to EFT in the sense that it helps you release negativity. It’s much simpler than EFT, because you only have to ask yourself a few simple questions to start letting go.
The only downside is that it comes with a price tag, while EFT is free. I use both EFT and the Sedona Method. Releasing negativity and handling your emotions is one thing, but you also have to take massive action and accept that most of the time you don’t know the exact path that you are going to take.
This is what happened to me when I launched this blog. Deep down I knew I wanted to do this, but I had a lot of fear and anxiety about getting started. I used these tools to release a large part of the negativity and then focused ruthlessly on what my next step was.
Sure, I had a big picture plan of what I wanted to accomplish, but the details weren’t there. I took it one step at a time and gradually the fog subsided.
Meditation
Meditation is a tool that you can use to give your thoughts more focus and power. It is much easier to visualize what you want and inject substance (feelings) when you are relaxed and free from distractions.
If you’re visualizing without feeling energized, you’re not injecting enough feeling to make a difference. Let’s say you want a fulfilling job. Begin by visualizing the details of how it looks, but also putting in how it feels.
How will you feel when you’re completely fulfilled? The feeling should be powerful, positive and uplifting. Without emotional charge nothing happens. Remember, you are in control of your brain, not the other way around.
You have the power to manipulate your visualizations and the emotions you put into them. This is why passion is so important and why passionate people are more successful. If you love what you do, the law of attraction will almost work on autopilot.
As I’ve started to follow my passion and help more people, it is almost like the universe conspires to help me in any way possible. When that starts happening, you know you’re on the right track.
Massive Action
As I said above, once you’ve released negativity, meditated and focused on what you want, you have to take action. If you’re waiting for something to happen, you’re going to be waiting for a long, long time.
You do not have to know what you’re doing to take action. Doing anything is better than doing nothing. It is through failure that you learn what works and what doesn’t. Each mistake, and each failure, is a stepping stone to success.
In the beginning you will fumble around, but as you keep going, things will start to clear up, and serendipity will come knocking on your door. It’s normal to not know what you’re doing. The most successful people aren’t afraid of failure.
I’ve noticed this in my own life. When I take massive action – even if I don’t know what I am doing – good things happen. If you want to use the Law of Attraction, these tools are extremely effective, but you have to actually USE them.
Massive action is key to it all.
The meditation and other techniques help still our emotions so that our intellectual brains can put all that energy to productive work.
It’s curious how sometimes I can get more work done feeling bad rather than jumped up on caffeine. When I’m jumped up, can’t focus. When I’m feeling crappy, I can only focus on one thing at a time.
For me focusing on one thing when you’re feeling crappy helps as well. I think it happens because it is almost like a mini-meditation 😉
Hiya Henri.
You have a great way of explaining LOA in a down to earth manner and infusing inspiration, with the practical. I agree with this great combination, I haven’t tried EFT so will have a look into that too.
Jen
Thanks. EFT is awesome, definitely check it out.
thanks Henri. Could you recommend any sites?
Check out their main website at emofree.com. They have a lot of free stuff there.
fantastic, thanks Henri.
Hey Henri:
First of all, kindly allow me to thank you for this great blog. I came across your blog while browsing over the web. It was a joyful experience to read your posts. All of a sudden, I remembered I had also read some of your guest posts on other blogs too.
You have a way with words and your articles are always interesting to read. I am an avid reader and hope to read more posts from you in the future as well. Please keep up the good work: you have my support. In addition, thanks for mentioning meditation. I came across meditation after reading the works of Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Dr.Herbert Benson’s, “The Relaxation Response” also left an indelible impression.
I thought meditation was hocus-pocus and mumbo-jumbo. However, I decided to give it a try with fabulous results. I have made it a daily practice. Meditation has helped me in so many ways: I feel calmer and more at peace than ever before and my allergies have all but disappeared.
Meditation has also helped me to become a fully functional human being, at least more than before. The feeling of bliss never leaves you. Meditation has enabled me to deal more objectively with issues and less dependent on externalities for support and validation.
I would recommend the daily practice of meditation for all your readers (although one size does not fit all). Meditation works on the subconscious mind–that has been my experience. Your piece resonated with me!
I am glad you enjoy reading my posts. Meditation can easily be dismissed when you first bump into it, which is unfortunate, but if you are meant to use it then you’ll keep bumping into it.
Even small amounts of meditation daily has been proven to be extremely beneficial by scientific research, so if not for the spiritual aspect, do it for your health 😉
Emotional Freedom Techniques:
This is quite interesting. I want my Concierge business to take off and be a tremendous success however in my mind I know that I have to work a regular job and the business would conflict time wise with that. So emotionally I am not promoting my Concierge business as thoroughly as I should for fear of losing my job.
I need to practice EFT more and follow my dreams.
That’s a pretty good thing to test EFT on. Release your emotions around your work and business and see what happens.
I like the term massive action.; very emphatic.
Inspired, or massive action is the key ingredient in applying the LOA because without it you won’t be applying the LOA.
Great post Henri…
I’ve used a few of these techniques myself and definitely find myself thinking negatively from time to time. I tell ya, blogging will set ones mind off onto some crazy tangents.
Good to read this and get regrounded.
Thanks buddy.
Thanks Henri,
This is just what I needed today. Action is the key, I believe, even if I don’t know what I’m doing…….steps forward rather than being stationery.
I am really enjoying this series. I have been feeling a stuck in a holding pattern. Thanks for sharing some great info.
Henri,
I think this series is a really great idea and very enlightening for everybody who is being exposed to it. Sometimes when things that are not ideal happen (i.e i got in a car accident this morning), I wonder how I could have possibly attracted this into my life. But, I think that we have to keep in mind that maybe the one bad thing that happened is part of the bigger picture of making other good things happen. I’m not sure what the meaning of an accident is, but I think we have a choice to dwell on such things and create more of them in our lives, or accept them, and shift focus. Of course the more you use the law of attraction, the more inspired your actions will be.
Sorry to hear about your car accident. I completely agree with you. You can never know where this car accident may lead in the coming months or even years. It’s easier to let things go when you aren’t so focused on the short-term effects.
I was actually in a car crash a few years ago while I was living in Spain. It wasn’t anything major, but it was close. It definitely gave me an experience I won’t forget.
I completely agree with you and plan on studying the laws of attraction more! I hope you don’t mind. I am linking to your page from my blog.
Feel free to link as much as you want 😀
I certainly admire your wisdom. Few people do take time to build themselves. I my case, I am always hungry for wisdom, I know it’s something we must attain in this short life of ours. I’m glad I have found it on the excellent books that I’ve read. It has changed my life for the better, and now, I have the opportunity of extending what I’ve learned, just like you. 🙂
