9 Powerful Reasons to Kill Your TV

I grew up with television. It was my dear friend. It taught me English (through Cartoon Network) and it comforted me in times of stress.

Most people grow up with television. And the news. It’s easy to use it as an escape from the world, and from your feelings.

It can feel good to switch on and switch off, but is it what you want to be doing for the rest of your life?

TV can be useful, but it has the tendency to take over your life and push you into a pool of procrastination.

Nothing moves. Nothing gets done. Your dreams fade away.

Of course, the same can be said about sitting in front of your computer.

I do think that computer clicking is a bit more active, but if you’re watching cats on YouTube, you might want to reconsider your approach.

With all that said, enjoy!

A Guide to Asking Questions That Change Your Life

Asking the right questions can transform your life.

The questions you ask yourself and others often determine the responses you get. Ask your mind why you’re such a failure and you will receive an answer.

Shifting your questions to being more results oriented and dare I say—positive, will change your life.

I’m sure if you think back to the interactions you’ve had and the observations you’ve made, you’ll notice that different people ask different kinds of questions.

People that are already living the life they want didn’t get there by asking themselves why they’re so horrible.

They instead asked how they could achieve what they want. As with any growth-related activity, you will run into plenty of nay-sayers and people that try to limit your personal development.

When these people start showing up at your doorstep, look at it as a sign that you’re doing something right. They are there to tell you that your growth is making them uncomfortable.

At this point all you have to do is keep going.

How to Be Successful Online: Eliminate and Discriminate

Before I started making a living online, I was all over the place.

I’ve bought more ebooks, coaching courses and membership programs than I care to disclose.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars on things that I have never even used.

I’m going to make a guess and say that 90% of the things I bought would’ve worked if I just put in the time and effort.

By time and effort I mean 6-12 months of working hard. The internet is both a curse and a blessing. The opportunities to do what you want are virtually endless.

I’ve helped a few people behind the scenes and the problem I see the most is trying to bite off more than you can chew.

If you want to make money as an affiliate marketer, pick one program and stick to it until it works.

If you feel like blogging is better suited for you – because you want to share your passion, connect with others and maybe make your own products – then do that.

4 Simple Ways to Enhance Your Intuition

How do you know when you’re truly listening to your intuition?

Have you noticed that sometimes your intuition is wrong?

It’s not really wrong, it’s just we humans mistaking something else for our intuition.

I don’t count on my intuition to make my decisions for me, but if it decides to help me along, I don’t mind at all.

Primarily I see intuition as a suggestion tool. It hints and nudges you to look at new things by affecting your feelings and thoughts.

The clearer your mind is, the better you are able to receive intuitive guidance, inspiration and all those fancy things associated with spirituality.

I don’t really see them as something esoteric. They are just tools that help me live my life.

A lot of people are apprehensive just by the mere fact that it has something to do with spirituality.

The cool thing is that you don’t have to see it that way. I use these things because they produce results and they feel good. With that said, here are the four simple tips I promised you:

How to Meditate: A Guide for Beginners

When you think about meditation, what is the first thought that pops up? Boredom?

11-12 years ago, I thought learning how to meditate was useless.

The health benefits of meditation have been proven by science.

Just a few of the benefits that you can expect are lowered blood pressure, stress relief, increased healing, improved mood and brain function, just to name a few.

Then we have my favorites, which are expanded awareness and a sense of connection to the world.

There is no one single way of meditating. Like with anything else, by all means immerse yourself in books, CDs and educational material, but remember that it is up to you to experiment and find what works.

I’ve never thought meditation was easy. Your mind wanders. Your body itches. You want to do something else.
