The Art of Living a Passionate Life

If you want to live a fulfilling and passionate life, you have to face your fears and take action.

You have to eliminate your excuses and keep going. You can succumb to whatever you think is stopping you, but in the end you are responsible for the life you live.

I know there’s a lot of stuff that comes up when you begin moving in a new direction, but it’s all part of the game.

Most people aren’t cut out to create a passion business. You are different though, because the mere fact that you’re reading this means that there’s something inside of you craving change.

The Most Empowering Post You Will Ever Read

The world seems to be falling apart.

Your life, your emotions and everything seems to be in a state of flux.

When you’re in a storm, you feel like it’ll never end, but deep down you feel change approaching.

I know you want to do what you love full-time. I know you’re scared and I know you’re overwhelmed. I know this because I’ve been where you are.

I’m not saying this to show you that I am somehow superior. I am saying it to show you that this is possible. You can do what you love and live a fulfilling life.

It may not be the easiest thing in the world, but if you’re determined and most important of all, passionate, you will succeed, if you keep going.

How to Make Your Fears Insignificant

If you want to get to where you want to be, you will have to learn how to overcome, eliminate and beat your fears. That is easier said than done, but the way I have done it is surprisingly simple.

It all started when I finished my last year in school. If I remember correctly, at that time I was already earning a healthy living by playing poker a few hours a day.

Everything went smoothly in the beginning and I was on top of the world. It wasn’t until a year or so later that I realized why they refer to poker as a hard way to make an easy living.

It’s tough, but when you learn to deal with the situation, you grow. The fear, worry, anxiety, frustration and anger that comes to the surface is surprising, but what it reveals about you as a person is amazing.

You and I, we will ultimately have completely different ways of overcoming and dealing with our fears. Keep that in mind when you read this article. This should merely serve as a stepping stone for you to discover what works for you.

By learning to make my fears insignificant, I’ve been able to make much faster progress than I could have done otherwise.

People often ask me how I am able to learn everything so fast, and I believe one of the reasons is because I am often able to work with my fears. I acknowledge them and keep moving forward.

Radical Minimalism: My 43 Possessions

I’ve been thinking about writing this post for a while now. When I first saw Leo Babauta with his list, I was intrigued. Then I saw Colin and Joshua, too. That got me thinking about how many possessions I currently have.

I’ve been down the route of owning a lot of stuff, and to be honest, it’s exhausting. The list below are the things I own and have with me at this moment. I still have things left back home (in Sweden) that I didn’t have time to clear out. It is stuff I will at some point sell or give away.

I feel like I can still eliminate a lot of stuff. I have way too many t-shirts. I probably don’t use 60% of them, but I’m not getting rid of them yet, because there’s no point. I am not traveling, but at some point they will go.

Then I have four sweatshirts, of which I probably only use two. I’m not sure if I’ll live like this for the rest of my life, probably not, but at this point in time, it’s something I enjoy.

What a Minimalist Lifestyle Means to Me

I enjoy a minimalist lifestyle because it gives me freedom. It isn’t just to save money or get a gold star. I care about what’s going in the world and inside myself.

When I used to buy things, I did it because it felt good. And that is what shopping is to most people–a high. Simplifying your life means that you have to simplify your mind.

The Price of Doing What You Love

When someone asks me about making a living online, I always try to make it seem as hard as possible.

I want to turn away anyone who doesn’t have the determination to follow through.

I’m not saying it’s impossible to make a living following your passion, because it isn’t. What I do want to instill is that it takes hard work, and lots of it.

I’ve never worked a real day job in my life, so from the tender age of 18, I’ve always had to use my creativity to solve the problems in my life.

It’s an unconventional life, but once you get used to it, you’ll never want to give it up. There have been times when I’ve thought about working 9-to-5.

But do I really want a steady paycheck in exchange for my soul? No, thank you. Working fixed hours would completely destroy my soul at this point, which is why my grand plans of comfort always fall down like a house of cards.
