One of my biggest lessons this year has been to not push things.
It’s easy to feel like you haven’t accomplished enough.
There’s always more to do. More to accomplish.
So the lesson for me has been to let things evolve naturally.
What matters is not how successful I am, or how fast I make progress.
What matters is following my heart, and what feels magnetic.
By doing that, I’m automatically on the right path for me, because I make decisions that resonate with who I am.
Now, I’ve written a lot about this in 2014, which is why I wanted to do a recap of the most powerful articles.
7 Articles You Must Read (And Re-Read)
Life is about making decisions.
If you make decisions from your inner authority, everything falls into place.
It may not be what you want, but it is what you need. That is what I’ve found, and that is what the below articles are about.
But life isn’t just about decisions, it’s about learning how to stay true to yourself even when life slaps you in the face.
Now, let’s have a look at those articles, shall we?
1. How to Make Great Decisions in Life + Business
If you only read one article, let it be this one. As I mentioned above, if you know how to make decisions, you’re well on your way. You don’t need to know your purpose, passion, or anything else. Just keep making decisions that are right for you and you’re likely to end up where you need to be.
2. On Depression, Feeling Worthless, and Finding Your Truth
You can make all the right decisions, but you can still lose hope for life. You can end up trembling when you think about the future. That’s why it’s crucial you learn how to deal with the darker side of life.
3. How to Start an Information Product Business Around Your Passion
Sometimes you need the practical steps of starting an online business. I’ve received a lot of questions about my process, which is why I wrote this 7-step guide on starting your own information product business.
4. The Ultimate Guide to Finding Your Passion
If you still have trouble finding your passion, and you feel like you need to at least gain some clarity, then this article is for you. This is probably the most popular article of the year, and for a good reason: It answers the most common questions you have about finding your passion.
5. Become the Go-To Expert in Your Niche (And Stand Out from the Noise)
There is no shortcut to doing work you love. You have to become good at doing something that people want to pay you for. But how do you do that? How do you learn to solve valuable problems? That’s what this article is about.
6. A 3-Step Formula to Tap Into Your Creativity (and Solve Any Problem)
In this short piece I share my 3-step process for tapping into my creativity. This is what I use when I’m writing books, creating courses, or in general stuck on something. I’ve learned how my mind works. It’s rarely easy, but it’s a lot easier than trying to force results.
7. Living Your Passion: A Fable
I’ve only written one fictional piece on this blog, and it’s this one. People love it. It’s about someone who struggles to find his passion, but eventually gets on the right track. It will inspire, motivate, and educate you.
Takeaway on Moving Forward
As you go into 2015, remember that there’s no rush.
You are where you are. Do the best with what you have.
Goals and New Years resolutions do not matter to me as much as following my heart.
You could say that my goal is to follow my heart.
It’s my heart, my inner GPS, that leads the way. Goals will come and go. Accomplishments will come and go. But when I follow my heart, I’m on the right track.
Happy New Year!
Henri
Henri,
I have been sitting in the background, reading your blog for years (literally). I tried all the the niche website gimmicks and rushing head long into trying to make money online. It all failed. None of it was me.
I have purchased a number of your books and the overall theme I came away with was to just pursue my passion – regardless of any monetary gains. I did that. Now I draw and write and my adult children see a part of me that they never quite realized existed. I have no idea if I will ever make any money – although I would love to pursue it full time. I do know that it makes me happy and I feel like I’m giving back.
Thanks for being genuine. Thanks for never pushing your own agenda above all else. Thanks for being you.
AJ
That’s great, AJ. Really appreciate you sharing that. You never know where the road leads, so you might as well do something you enjoy 🙂

Awesome, Bridget. Same to you 🙂
Thanks Henri. I missed some of your post during 2014 as I found your site later in the year so this will be of great help to me. I have made 2015 my year to reach all my goals I have set for this year and beyond. I am excited about the journey and what life has in store for me. Thanks to you for motivating me and inspiring me to become bolder, better able to understand life and accept it’s challenges.
Best of luck on your journey, Rose. Thanks for commenting. Any questions, just let me know 🙂
