In this episode, I’m talking to Tracy from The Love Vitamin.
I’ve had a few people send me emails wondering if it’s possible to make a living online if you’re not teaching people how to make a living online, and the short answer is yes.
I have more success stories like this coming up on the podcast to show you how other people have built a thriving lifestyle business.
Tracy has an interesting story to share, because she started not too long ago, but she built a lifestyle business fairly quickly.
How she did that, and the main factors for her rapid success, you’ll discover when you listen to the episode.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll learn:
- How Tracy stumbled onto her passion (and how she found the intersection between what she loves to do and what people want)
- The exact business model she uses to make a living doing what she loves
- What you can do to overcome your fears
- How (and when) to launch your first product (and what to expect)
- Her #1 traffic source (and how it all started)
- The benefits of running a lifestyle business (and the freedom it gives you)

Hey guys, this was a fantastic interview!
I love the fact that Tracy is pretty transparent about her answers and how she got started with her first two products and it is a fresh breath of air to know we don’t have to be experts at everything to get started.
The common thought comes to mind “wish I knew about this a lot of time ago” but hey, it’s never too late to get started right?
The other point that grabbed my attention is that she started making money right from her first product regard the fact that her list wasn’t that big and my only question would be if she got her blogging mindset (what to write about, how to start building your audience, etc) from Yaro himself.
Again, a great interview and I got a lot out of it, thanks Henri and Tracy! 😉
Sergio
PS. Her “About Me” page ROCKS man, have you checked it out already?
Thanks Sergio!
Her about page definitely rocks. Something to model for people who are unsure about their about pages
Just goes to show that it helps to have training when you’re starting out, especially when you’re willing to take massive action like Tracy did.
Hey Sergio, I’m glad you liked the interview! And my About page. I didn’t realize it was so good haha… it’s definitely been a work in progress, and has evolved over time into what it is now.
I suppose that’s another point I wanted to talk about in the interview – well, I suppose this whole theme is covered a lot everywhere on Wake Up Cloud – is that nothing has to be perfect when you start, and if you want it to be, nothing will ever happen. It’s just all about doing something, and getting it out there. Everything can be changed and evolved as you go.
As for whether I got my blogging mindset and model from Yaro? Yes, probably. My direct inspiration, Fran from High on Health.org, is actually a personal friend of Yaro’s, and he was the one who encouraged her to start a blog in the first place. So I imagine her mindset was modeled from him, and mine from the both of them, especially in the beginning! As my blog has grown, I have begun paying closer attention to a variety of successful blogs that I like (in all sorts of different niches) and checking out what it is that they are doing so that I can get ideas about how to evolve my business and make it even more effective.
Thanks Henri and Tracy. It is great to hear from people who aren’t in the money making business.
I have no clue for instance how many (if) anyone is making money with my topic (self development).
Henri, I’d be interested to hear about the attitude to money of someone who used to make their money from poker. Do you feel your attitude to money is different and was it affected by making it this way? (Btw money isn’t only an exchange mechanism – it is also a storage mechanism.)
I’d say poker has definitely changed my attitude to money, but it’s continued to change even after I stopped playing. It’s hard to say how it has changed though.
Thanks for the interview Henri and Tracy!
What stood out for me was that you don’t have to have everything figured out perfectly before you can start. Tracy is definitely a great example of someone who takes action without over-planning. And her success clearly speaks for the soundness of this approach.
Also.. it goes to show that when you pick a niche where you can really solve a big problem for people, your chances of success seem to increase dramatically.
I think it’s very impressive how fast Tracy built up a business that supports her life!
Gracias Juha!
You’re right on. I was also a bit surprised at how quickly Tracy was able to build her business.
Again, it shows that it helps to have proper training and steps to follow, like she had with Yaro’s course.
Thank you Henri and Tracy … fantastic interview!
I really liked the part where you talk about product creation. It’s definitely a good idea to get started ASAP. And for a looooot of time I had this limiting belief that if I tell people everything on my blog, then what the hell am I supposed to sell them. I got this issue handled now thanks to this wonderful interview 🙂
Awesome guys, nice job!
Dejan
PS: I don’t know why, but everytime Tracy laughed I laughed also … freaking contagious 🙂
Thank you sir!
Tracy has an amazing laugh, so that doesn’t surprise me at all 😉
Thanks for this Henri – I love your Podcast. A little off topic ,how do you recommend bringing traffic to your site? How long after you started did you start to receive traffic?
I started receiving traffic on the first day by commenting on other blogs.
You can read more about my journey and find several comprehensive articles on getting traffic here: https://www.wakeupcloud.com/traffic/
Hope this helps 🙂
very helpful thanks Henri
