Over a year ago I made a mistake that I regret, well, kinda. I did something I’m not proud of and am trying to learn from that experience and you’d think in a year’s time I would but I’m not so sure I have.

More things are changing in my life here very soon so I’m trying to get a grasp on those things as well. Life has lessons if we’re willing to learn them, that’s for sure.

There’s a book you might find interesting if you haven’t read it yet called “THe Language of Letting Go.” Control is one of those really strange things. When we finally stop trying to control everything, we tend to have control over anything. It’s counter-intuitive.

He didn’t actually know all about me, not as far as I am concerned. Who knows though, he may have been exactly what he said he was. We have no way of knowing

EFT has been really effective for me, but it took me a while to start using it. I first bumped into it when I was 16, used it a bit, but never seriously. I have just recently started using it more.

Hey Henri!
Weird but cool story! How did the guy know all about you?
I’ve also been able to relax and not get upset by things lately, it give a better perspective and allows you to be more flexible in your thinking.

Just started to study EFT seriously last night, I have know about it for some time now but I want to understand it completely to get control over any negative emotions I have. I did the basic sequence last night and I feel really good today, it may have helped already!

Just be careful when it comes to drunk strangers. They may seem harmless, but always be ready to knock them out should they try to get clever. Learn some Muay Thai

I have control issues too Henri. I hear ya. I also have a difficult time with others lecturing me about God while not looking in the mirror at their own actions.

In fact, I have come to the conclusion most of my control issues have to do with people trying to play God with my life who know nothing of God.

The most difficult thing for me is to let go at times.

So I’m going to counseling for this now because ultimately I also realize being controlling isn’t a result of feeling loved and is merely a result of fear.

Not to mention the fact it isn’t very Godly of me, but I have never tried to dictate what others do regardless.

Either way, if you learn what works, please let me know.

Letting go and relaxing are two of my negative traits I would like to work on changing about myself.

Guns N’ Roses is my favorite band and the song in question is awesome, dude.

What a coincidence: the exact same incident has happened to me numerous times.
Only with other drunks, obviously. Again, what a coincidence. Call it fate/destiny?

A lot of times perfect strangers have called out my name from strange places that I never frequented. And when I think of a song, it starts to play elsewhere too.

Yeah, but I did not get angry with the drunks, because who wants to get into a fist fight? I just let it go and let it be and try to talk my way out of such uncomfortable situations, especially when you have a lady with you. It can get awkward too.

My life has been a series of such coincidences; it is nothing new for me at all. I am used to it by now. In fact, one of my best friends lives in Spain too. Cheerio.

By the way, thanks for a wonderful post. And keep up the good work. We–your loyal readers–appreciate the feedback. And please try to stay out of trouble.

mm, a strange one Henri but you got some good stuff out of it. I think letting go of control is a hard one for a lot of people, but it sounds like by not resisting what was going on you let it play out and probably helped the situation end more positively.

Sometimes there’s no reasoning behind such encounters, but they’re quite amusing. Dude was probably drunk and obviously bold…

I’ve noticed some random stuff happening around here and I’m just dismissing it. Maybe I should setup my camera
